Many Nikon shooters, including myself, have been puzzled by Nikon’s implementation of the menu banks, which have not been changed for many years now. I kind of feel they are not totally listening to their customers and also not do the small things right in their cameras at the moment. I have been having some trouble using my 500 with sports photography. The “AF activation” setting on my D500 is always set to “OFF” (AF-ON only) to allow me to use the dedicated AF-ON button on the back for focusing.
