As of today if your BMI is at least 35 to 39.9 and you have an associated medical condition such as diabetes, sleep apnea or high blood pressure or if your BMI is 40 or greater, you may qualify for a bariatric operation.

The rate of incarceration of Aboriginal people has risen 35 per cent between 1988 and 1995.
